Just came back from SGC Chalet yesterday, very fun and very tiring too... Haha.
Today had school somemore, super tired la. My brain is still numb from tiredness, so my sentences might not make sense somehow. Bear with me k? Haha. =)

I liked the quiet day, tho it was quite short. But it was very refreshing, just sitting there facing the beach and tuning in to God. Initially I thought it would feel very draggy and long, but before I knew it, the alarm on the watch went off and I had to head back to the chalet. Haha.
That's what I like abt SGC, not everything is about having fun and stuff. We grow together spiritually too, learning how to do QT, experiencing quiet day, doing PDL. =)

During the quiet day I was reflecting about the past year, and some stuff just dawned upon me. Some of them you might go like "duh", but it was a revelation to me anyhow.

- God is just so wonderful, looking at the clouds and sea and feeling the wind. Really thank God for creating everything.

- Thank God for blessing me in the area of playing drums. I never thought I was good. But I realise that I am here with this skill because of the Grace of God, and I will use this gift He has given me to worship Him. I've always thought it's hard to play drums and worship God at the same time, but I'll try to do so from now on. =)

- Thank God for my parents. I've taken them for granted most of the time, but I've come to realise how much of a blessing they are to me. They have given me a huge amount of freedom. They have been very patient with me, putting up with my weird antics. Haha. Their constant nagging, to help me do things I would've otherwise have postphoned till like forever. Indeed I've been very blessed, I know you guys read my blog, I would like to say...
Thanks Mom and Dad! I love you.............. Can I have a new handphone? Wahahaha... Just joking la. =P


Had spiritual pot-luck at night. Shared about the past year and how God had brought me thru the tough times. Everyone shared their Verse for 2006 too, mine would be Ecclesiastes 12:1 - Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble comes and the years approach when you will say, "I find no pleasure in them"

Then we had Holy Communion. I guess we overshot the timing? And we missed the New Year countdown. Then very funny, at 12 midnight, while we were having Holy Communion, the neighbouring chalet was like going "My heart goes shalalalala~! Shalala in the morning!! Yeahhh~!! Woohooo~!!" Then our chalet was like so quiet. Haha.

Sunday went to church with Mabel and Shawn. Quite weird la, haha. Everyone was dressed nicely, to welcome the New Year, and the 3 of us were like in shorts and slippers. Haha. After service, we waited for Alvin to finish his worship practice then we head off to play dota!! So fun. =) No need to see la, of course my team won. But I shall not say whose effort it was. I shall wait for either Mabel or Julian to come and tag me, saying why my team always win k? Haha... =P
No la, just joking la. I know Proverbs 27:2. Hahaha... Not me la, coz I lucky to kena good team mates every dota match. =)

Couldn't remember what I did Sunday night and Monday morning. That was how tired I was. Haha.. But after the chalet ended, we went to play dota again. Won again. Hehe... =P Not coz of me la, coz Julian and Mabel so pro. =) Dun play play k? Mabel's dota is pro, she killed brian so many times. Hahaha... Lina r0x0r5! After dota, me, brian and alvin went to MT!! Haha... Then went back home at like 10.

I need rest! I'm gonna go do an afternoon nap now. Till we meet again! Tata~!
