Welcome.
YOURS TRULY

I'm Joel Mo Jiaming. Born in 1986, 22nd July. Speaking about birthdays when I say 'it's alright' or 'anything's fine', don't take my word for it. What I really meant was 'get me ANYTHING nice and expensive, it's FINE if you get broke, I don't really care. Hah. Kidding duh.
Occupation? Defending Singapore from the scum of the universe. I rule the battlefield with my trusty telephone! NO COMMS NO WAR! RAHH
I believe in JESUS, the one true saviour. No witty comment needed here, cuz just mentioning his name is already oh so cool.
BADASS SHOWOFF
I don't really have anything to showcase now. But don't worry this part HERE is still under construction. I promise i'll work hard and earn myself the right to wear Mabel's cool shirt. (:

Hello people!

Firstly I would like to thank Amanda! Thank you veryyyyyyyyyyy much for the lollipop k? I know this 'thank you' is a little overdued, but still. Heh... And sorry I didn't buy the lollipops until like wed! I just had alot of stuff to do, couldn't find time to buy. Sorry! =x

And now I would like to talk about the camp. Personally I thought it was an alright camp. It had enough fun, enough spiritual stuff, and everything was running on schedule and rather smoothly. We just have a few disciplinary problems here and there with the boys, but that is to be expected.

So why are people not satisfied with this camp? Some people going to the extend to saying that it's the worst camp they have been to?

Is it not spiritual enough? Quoting from Evelyn's blog : "Many received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, many saw visions and one soul was saved. I believe all these are enough for us to praise God for a wonderful camp."
So this can't be the case.

Is it not fun enough? Perhaps the first day we were warming up to the camp, and the 2nd day we didn't have games. But you can't deny that we had lots of fun on thursday, doing the race and the talentnite and staying thru the night. You guys were laughing your heads off almost throughout the whole talentnite. And the fellowship with each other on the last night would warrant it fun enough right?

People complaining about the speaker, I can understand. Tho I personally thought he was quite entertaining and he held my attention throughout every single session. But that couldn't be the reason why they didn't like the entire camp right?

Extended worship, I agree with matthias. It wasn't exactly what I would call spiritual. What's up with people jumping up and down and doing trains during the fast songs, and then going for toilet breaks and chilling out in the cafeteria during the slow songs? Thus I agree with his decision to cut short the extended worship and just end it like that. No point doing an extended WORSHIP, if all the people wanted was just fun.

So what's the point of me saying all these? I just can't understand why people would not like the camp.

Tho I also agree that even tho everything was running so smoothly, something was lacking.

I conclude that it is the attitude of the campers. We can all plan the best camp programme for you, secure the best facilities and have the best camp comm. But if you are going to convince yourself that camp is gonna suck even before you step into the campsite then sorry, it is still going to suck for you. And sadly your attitude will spread to the campers around you too.

What is your agenda for coming to camp? Is it to feel God's presence? To have fun? Or to just sulk your way thru the camp? I don't know. Seeing some of the campers, really disheartened me. Wonder why they paid $75 to come and waste their time. I rather they just stay at home and let the rest of the campers have fun.

Don't know la. It's over anyway. And I do know that most of us did have fun and encountered God in a wonderful way. Anyway, here's a shoutout to Mr Dean! If u ever see this, welcome to God's kingdom! Yay! Haha...

I'm feeling tired, so I shall end here. I do have alot of things to say about camp, I shall post another day. Bye bye.
